Our Campus

Main Sanctuary:

In 2018, Fletcher UMC dedicated a new building addition including a new sanctuary space. This new facility features capacity for up to 325, improved wheelchair accessibility, and updated audio/visual technology. In 2019, Fletcher UMC dedicated 2 new instruments used for worship each Sunday and for community events – a Steinway Model B grand piano, and 5 ranks of new organ pipework from Parkey Organ Builders in Atlanta, GA added to the Rodgers electronics. Glory be to God and many thanks to the numerous donors and supporters who have made all of this possible!

For worship and events, access this space by the front entrances up the main front steps, or by 2 ramps located behind the building on the side closest to the Fellowship Hall.

Parking:

Fletcher UMC has 2 large parking areas, one located in front and another in back of the main church building.

Accessibility: Note that ample accessible parking and ramps are located in the parking lot behind the main church building.  Continue down the driveway toward the Fletcher Library, then turn right (between the church and fellowship hall) into our main parking area.

Church Offices:

A new office wing was constructed as part of the 2018 building addition. During the week, access the church office by coming up the front steps and using the leftmost door, or enter from the back by the long ramp beside the memorial garden. Office hours are M-F, 9am-1pm.

Chapel:

Constructed in 1928, our current chapel acted as the main worship space for the congregation at Fletcher UMC for 90 years. Featured along each wall are stained glass windows dedicated in honor and memory of many loved church and family members. Bible study groups and other classes still regularly utilize this space. It’s also home to the Anticipate: Ancient-Modern worship services held during Advent and Lent.

Memorial Garden:

Originally located in the former courtyard outside the chapel, the newly relocated memorial garden features plants and trees donated in memory of loved ones, a cross-shaped path featuring memorial bricks, and a Bible-themed collection of plants, marked with their references in scripture. The Old Testament is featured to the left of the cross, and the New Testament to the right.
