Spiritual Labyrinth
Labyrinth begins in our fellowship hall this Thursday, February 18 - February 24th. Time slots are available 8 am to 7 pm. The experience will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Along with our Ash Wednesday service, this labyrinth is set up to give us the opportunity to prepare our hearts for the season of Lent. Sign up table will be set up outside the church, as you exit the service or call Joy at 777-5007. What is a labyrinth? It is a self-guided prayer walk - personal time between you and God. You will be led by audio to 12 different artistic and creative 'stations' to guide your prayer time. A labyrinth offers one way to be in communion with God and in the process discover all that is within us - our joys, our struggles, our longings. We pray for others, for situations, for change...we pray to be changed. We learn to express our deepest needs, to be honest, to celebrate, and to give thanks. You will have the opportunity to pray in various ways and for specific needs in your life and in the world.
