Son Shine Preschool is a half day Christian Preschool offering classes for 2, 3, and 4 year olds. The programs run from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM August through May. Children must be either 2, 3, or 4 years old by August 31st of the school year to enter a specific program. 2 year olds may choose 5 day, 3 day or 2 day classes. Three year olds may choose 5 day or 3 day classes and 4 year olds will attend 5 days a week with the goal of preparing the child for Kindergarten.
The Son Shine Preschool curriculum is Christian based and is developmentally appropriate. Each day includes circle time, teacher directed activities, outside time and more. Children attend a weekly Chapel service, and additional programs such as "Computer Pals" and "Music Moms". Three and four year olds will also attend a weekly story time at the public library (next door).
