Growing as Christ’s Disciples
Vines & Branches Class Join along with other adults in the church library and discuss Bible passages specially selected to coincide with what our children and youth are learning each Sunday as they relate to Christian living for the modern world.
Various mid-week, small group Bible and book studies are offered in short-term and long-term sessions throughout the year to help adults grow in learning and discipleship. No matter what age we are, we never reach a point where we cannot learn something new!
Each Wednesday from 5:45 to 6:45pm, our adults meet during MidWeek Connections for continuing short term Bible Studies, approx. 4 weeks each in duration, led by Dr. Stephen Ray in the Fellowship Hall, after our weekly supper. The same study is also offered on Tuesdays at 2pm in the Sales room. For more info on the current study, contact the church office at (828)684-7155. Men’s Bible Study meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings of each month in the church library for breakfast and Biblical study and discussion. 5th Saturdays are spent contributing to the efforts of the Skyland United Methodist Church’s Open Table Breakfasts.
